The TEKTUS projector is part of a tradition of Doxis lighting fixtures characterized by neutral geometry. This discrete language of form benefits optimum visual integration into the environment, where luminaires serve the architecture rather than trying to draw attention to themselves.
Such an approach is only possible with a sophisticated mechanical concept. Lighting luminaires, and in particular the LEDs used in them, involve technical requirements. Therefore, TEKTUS is equipped with an invisible integrated convection system to optimally ventilate the inside of the cylindrical body in any position, in order to achieve the highest possible efficiency and lifetime. Another unique feature is the hinge construction located entirely at the rear of the projector, which makes the cylindrical corpus look uninterrupted and purist from any viewing direction. The result is pure geometry, fitting into pure architecture.
Moreover, the TEKTUS projector is designed as a component within a larger whole. The unit lends itself to several typologies: the linear or slab-shaped surface-mounted units, suspended units, wall-mounted units, recessed ceiling units and profile systems within the TEKTUS range all use the same cylindrical base, enabling them to cope with as many different lighting problems as possible and allowing architectural installations to maintain maximum visual homogeneity. TEKTUS is offered in two sizes (Tektus 45 and Tektus 60, both available as spot and pendant modules) and offers multiple options in terms of beam characteristics so that every installation can be adapted in terms of scale and light output (e.g. Tektus 45 can be equipped with a unique system for indirect light).
